Dear friends,
We’ve been through a lot together.
You’ve shown up for all the chapters—cancer, dogs dying, dads dying, semi adult humans — and yes, extensive, exhaustive, embarrassing conversations about my boobs.
And you kept reading.
You’ve supported me through the unedited (unadvised?) drafts of healing, motherhood, writing, and figuring out how to be a human in and amongst the noise.
And now, as June wraps up, I’m going to pause—on purpose.
I'm hitting pause on paid subscriptions for now because something new is taking shape: The Story Experiment.
It’s part journal, part self-discovery experience, part choose-your-own-adventure for women who are ready to reclaim the pen and start writing the life they actually want. You’ll see new prompts, interactive tools, a fresh format—and a community of women all saying yes to the mess and the magic of it.
(And for my male readers - you are more than welcome to join but fair warning there may be frank discussions about vaginal atrophy. However, this weekly(ish) friendship we’ve established will remain and I hope you stay with me.)
Some things will change, others will not.
At the end of July, you’ll get a sneak peak behind the curtain. There will be a path for all! - free, paid in money, paid in love, paid in wine.
But for now:
No surprise charges.
No pressure.
No “conscious uncoupling” necessary.
Just a pause. A breath. A (planned) plot twist.
Thank you for being here. For reading. For showing up. I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on and what’s next.
Here’s to taking a child’s pose for Cancer season (the good one, not the deadly one).
You get only one July this year, make it a good one.
With love, wine and a belly sore from laughter,
Juli
Excited to ready Julie!
All righty my girl! Waiting to see/hear/read this new iteration of yours!
Love you much! ❤️ mom
